Hi, My names Chelsey. I am not deaf, but I am studying ASL and Deaf Culture right now. I am working on becoming an Interpreter. In one of my classes I have to interview a deaf person. I have a list of 10 questions and was wondering if anyone would be willing to do it!! I would really appreciate it!! I only need one person, but if more than one person would like to do it your more than welcome. Thank You!:wave:
 
She said we couldn't use any of the deaf staff or students at my school so she said it was okay just to do it through email or internet.
 
Well, I don't want to feel like I am intruding, because I am not deaf...I don't know if it's rude or not? Maybe you can help me out here.

Why are you intruding because you're hearing?

The reason I asked is because many survey givers are one minute wonders.. They come and get their homework and go "Dang that was easy" to be never seen again.
 
I didn't know if it was rude or not because this is a deaf forum. But if it will make you feel better, I can come back to the forum :).
 
Yeah, it will probably actually help me get a better understanding of the deaf culture. Maybe even make some friends.
 
I'm from a small town in Illinois, but I'm currently living in Chicago for school. What about you?
