1 In 3 Cellphone Users Would Give Up Sex Over Texting For Week
A large number of cellphone owners would rather give up sex than their handsets, according to a new survey.
The survey by Telenav shows that about one-third of Americans would forego sex for a week over giving up their phone, Time magazine's Techland blog reported.
About 70 percent of those who would rather text than tango were female, perhaps not surprisingly.
More people (55 percent) were also more willing to give up caffeine for a week than their smartphone, according to the survey.
Twenty-two percent of cellphone users said they were willing to forego seeing their significant other entirely for a week than give up their phone. Another 22 percent were willing to give up their toothbrushes, and one in five would even rather go shoeless than phoneless for a week, Techland reported.
