Hey, this is to remind you all NEVER NEVER NEVER leave your furry pets in your car while going somewhere!!! These furry animals can kill from extreme heat built up in vehicles. It does not take much to heat inside car to kill animal in no time when outside temperature is only 75 degrees! Even if it is in shade. It sure pissed me off hearing or see these poor animals suffer in scorcing heat in the car, EVEN if windows is rolled down a bit... STILL NOT ENOUGH!!! Best leave them at home where it is much safer for them.

More and more states and local can arrest, and charge you for cruelity on animals being left in vehicle. And if you see them CALL cops right away!

Im glad to hear this idiot got arrested!

Whoa! She's an idiot to do that! OF Course, I'm aware about not putting animals or babies or children left inside the car..

seems that it always happens to many babies and pets once a year...*smh*
 
In summer heat, I would never take my dogs out for ridin' with me nor leavin' 'em in the car alone. I know better than that. I always leave them at home where there's A/C keepin' cool around. And, PLUS give them a plenty of water ! :thumb:

I see some pets in cars left alone.. no way I would do that.. I would leave them at home alone or get dogsitters.. Don't want the pets to be starved and thirsty!
 
i know.. i saw a dog inside a truck with window rolled up at walmart .. it was like 75 but inside hte truck can reach up to 90 degrees.. pissed me off that whoever have the pet in truck doesnt know how danger the heat can be for animals? jeez.

i do bring my dog with me everywhere i go but i dont leave him there inside the car...like post office- i take him for the ride but when i get out- i always get him out and he would follow me and wait by the door under shade .. but its getting too hot and its best to leave my dog home where he will be safe inside with a/c as he is old.. he love to go for car rides.. he always look forward to do that..sometimes i hae to leave him home and he would moan at the door lol hes 13 yrs old, dang.. :giggle:
 
Last weekend was very hot, so we decided to take my nephews with me and my family to go to store because we can't leave them in car- they are 8 and 12 or 13. As for my dog, we leave him home.
 
few times TJ want to stay in car.. i told him NO.. he have to go in store iwth me NO MATTER.. he is almost 7. I dont care.. He have to cuz of danger people out there .. I dont trust perverts nowadays.. no matter even its cold .. he cant stay in car ALONE.. no way! i may be strict but i care about him and dont want to lose him to strangers! :ugh2:
 
Yea I know that feeling. One day I went to walmart and there was a dog in the car barking at me. Yea I was pissed at the owner. I always leave my dog at home when the weather get cooler then I take her with me. She loves to go somewhere with us.

I would take my dog ridin' with me only after 7pm when it's cool...but of course, take him to vet during the day is different story...I always keep A/C keep cool around...;) I also take him for walk after 8pm...

yeah, that goes with my dog..hes 11 soon to be 12 on July 4th....He loves to go for car rides with me..especially sits on my lap while driving...:giggle:
 
Diehard!,

I've seen around here, Peoples are leaving their dogs in the car.. and window little bit wide open not likely 1 inches open.. I wud say about 10 inches wide open... Mostly shade parking lot area... Let dogs cool'n down... But Animal control van sitting and watch vechile who has dogs inside... their will ticking time... and will put ticket.. for 20 minutes more.. They'll call police and tow company break the car... let dog freed.. and giving a water!

Pretty interesting in my homearea...

Made me chill... wow impressive Animal control are swarming around the parking lot popluar area... park it there!
 
I read in a newspaper that in the summer time the car would get really hot. so hot that u could bake a sheet of cookies in the car! If i ever owned a dog and want to bring it with me it would be going for a drive into the contry and if i must stop at the store it will be a very quick stop.
