Dear Editor:

I can see a little bit of change that is going on in Danville and the ideas belong to someone else. It's a shame that people have to stoop to taking someone else's ideas and using them for their own.

Danville residents are probably shocked to know that a deaf person (William Weyman) is running for mayor. At least he doesn't lie and cheat people. He is humble and friendly, and wants to help the people of Danville, not go against them.

The cards he passes out to people are funny and very informative about his ideas to help Danville grow and prosper. He is for the people first and will listen to people tell him their ideas to help Danville.

Danville is a wonderful and beautiful city, and I hate to think that politics are bringing it down. I want to see Danville grow and provide jobs for the unemployed, help the needy and preserve Danville's good name. People don't want to be lied to or have things hidden from them. People want truth and honesty and to be included in discussion of ideas concerning Danville.

I bid him all the best, that is if he is truly the sort of candiate that this town could use...now now, the town's deaf people won't have to complain about not being able to get an interpretator or not being able to attend such town meetings! ;)

More Danville info

Danville is home to KY School for the Deaf. I've heard that it has the largest Deaf community in KY (200-300 people). This doesn't suprise me since KSD is over 175 years old.
