My grandmother was deaf. My father would have been deaf too if he would'n get that hearing impland or what it is in his ear. Ok. That's not strange. It's only a backround of the story that I try to tell.
My grandmothers language was swedish and my grandfathers language was finnish. So when they met my grandfather couldn't speak swedish and my grandmother didn't understand finnish. Of course she couldn't hear either.
I think it's strange how they met each other and fall in love.
I did ask that to my father, how they communicate but he didn't know.
It was about 1920 when my grandparents met each other.
I have to say that I can't solve how they could communicate.

Wow that's a really nice relationship though, maybe they communicated through English? or gestures/expressions?
