Used to do that before they made the bags biogradable; now if I use them, the bags leak.

True. I still use them for trash, but not food. I use the organic bin for that these days. You have to get rid of them it every week or it'll leak too as well.

I heard that California bill ban plastic bags but fail.

It's better if store charge us the plastic bags to use. So, whoever shopper are required to have few item in each bags, have to accept it.

Also, most cashier or sack boy/girl don't know how to use limited plastic.

For myself, I take these plastic bags as my trash bag, so that way I don't need to buy small trash bag.

Always say "NO" to plastic bags, if you have less 5 items if you able to carry these with you.
