Ah yea Manny Ramiez.

Wow. youre that old enough to remember 80's vividly? I only remember cheap gas cost but I dont remember anything else.

I have a very, very good memory. I will have to ask my father how much the baseball ticket cost then...Pry three bucks, maybe ten? We went to the old Philly stadium alot to see the Braves and the Phillies. When I was down in SC, I found out that the ticket in Altanta is so cheap!!!! Maybe we will drive down there... The Stars game is in NY this year. Blah...

I remember the first time we were not allowed to bring soda can, not even beer cans to the baseball game...my uncle and great grandfather curse all the way through to take their seats. :giggle: Of course they had to pay for their own beer.

Tough luck for him that likely not earn a vote to enter Hall Of Fame. I vote him in Hall Of Shame along Maino Jones, Michael Vicks and Floyd Landis.

Sorry, Bill Belichick didn't get a vote due he didn't lie to NFL even gotta not lie to federal coming up. Either he didn't take 'roids.

I think Clemens used steroids because it is unfathomed that he was able to keep on throwing 90 fastballs at 40 years old. As for other baseball players who were mentioned in Mitchell's report, I firmly believe these players use steroids to gain the unfair advantage.

Nolan Ryan still can throw 90mph as he is 61 years old. He pwn over Clemens as he even, being old man, beat up on pretty boy - Robin Ventura LOL

Ryan's ex pitching coach Tom House admitted using steroids. Remember steroids were legal before 90's (Schwarzenegger admitted using steroids bec they were legal at the time when he was completing for mr. Olympus) No doubt Tom House would advise Ryan to take steroids and bam rejuvenated Ryan's career after 40s. So I think steroids have been widespread used in professional sports since 1960's.

yep, i agree with that, althelics will never stop using. Arnold was the best, at 220 lb he was built of small bones and small waist, and steriods allowed him to compete at a tiny 220lbs, but look like he was 250lbs+ The man was just astonishing.Nothign fake about it, just hard work and rigorous scruntiny he had placed himself under. He wasnt a fool, he knew how to use it. Oh steroids dont shrink penises, it shrink balls, only when they dont take other precaution to get their testosterone back into normal play - that sort of stupidity like this, gives steroids a bad name.

it was a lot of jackarses bent in for glory but dont know what they were doing because at the time (and still now - becuase its gone underground, hence less experts to supervise properly) they was not alot of expertise it was just coming around, all at same time researchers and doctors were discovering steriods useful properties to deal with a range of diseases, but was given a bad name by greedy sportspeople who were impaitent and stupid. Not saying taKING STEROID stupid, but overusing it ended up being abuse as does they have damaged themselve because they did not respect the potency of these compound. Steroid now plays a significant part in combating a range of cancerand amongst other difficult to treat diseases.

It's like fast cars, back in 60's 70's many fast cars were hitting the road then banned, simply because the engine techonology was gaining but brakes and handling was lagging behind so much that too many people got killed. With this similarity of disrespect leading to bans, in the case of steriods it was a case of lack of knowledge, and um, hysteria. I believe theres alot of gullible public believes in 'being right' in the name of political correctness or if not that, then just being lordy.

Yes some highest ranking sportpeople have died..... they RUSHED too..Flo-Jo was one.well she used HGH which is dicey to play with stupid girl.

I bet that for many of the 2008's Olympics in China, catching cheaters is going to be much harder now since more knowledge of the half life, and employing lots of clever tricks to use as much of juice and ween off in time prior to testing.....so dont be suprised if you noticed hardly anyone is caught as they'd say 'everyone is clean' it is very strict here...and all that rubbish....you know something? that would be BULLSHIT.........they are just smarter not to get caught.....there sure would be a fool who might get caught and Id bet it would be a case of 'the hidden games sabotage'.....the media morons will pick it up and neither will we.
