‘Baseball’ filmmaker Ken Burns says no Hall of Fame for Clemens and Bonds

Filmmaker Ken Burns and daughter Sarah, who worked together on the documentary “[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AehmA3hTLmA"]Central Park Five[/ame],” attended the annual New York Film Critics Circle Awards ceremony in New York Monday. But it was baseball that Burns was talking about in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Asked if he would vote for first-time Hall of Fame nominees Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds , Burns, who directed the acclaimed 10-part documentary series, “Baseball,” responded with an emphatic “no.” Citing questions about the players’ steroid use, he said: “Those mother[expletive] should suffer for a while.” Well, we know how he feels.
