St. Patrick Center, St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf split $240,000 in tax credits - St. Louis Business Journal
St. Louis-area organizations will receive nearly $240,000 in state tax credits, the Missouri Department of Economic Development said Monday.
St. Patrick Center in St. Louis has been approved for $164,291 in Youth Opportunities Program tax credits. Donations received as part of this YOP project will be directed to St. Patrick Center's Project Yes We Can!, which serves homeless and impoverished youth age 21 with needs assessments, life skills training, parenting education, GED training, financial stability coaching, and employment skills education, development and placement services.
St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf in Chesterfield has been approved for $75,000 in tax credits for its Molloy Center for Early Intervention, which provides speech therapy for at-risk children, counseling and education for parents, and assistance with developmental and emotional issues.
