I'd be pissed too. I would asked for a manager one then and there loudly while others are looking saying you WILL NOT DISCRIMINATE ME AGAIN! If no higher up management is there, I'd demand one on the phone. I would explain the rep attitude and comments and demand compensation for such a rude rep.
I done this once before - and it was exhilarating as I left the store with a 50% off my purchase. needless to say - the rep I was talking to was shaking as I left.
