Here is a quick cold snack for the hot summer days ahead.

Highly nutritious , spicy, and fat free.

Need:

1 1lb bag frozen pre-cooked peas
1 clove garlic
1 small pod of dried ginger
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp dried ground red chili pepper
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
4 cups water

In a blender whurl up (at highest speed) the ginger, pepper, cumin seeds, and oregano leaves until semi powdered.

add the water and garlic clove and give it a good whurl (use the lid) and then at (med speed) add (through the lid hole with the blender running) the frozen peas a little at a time until you see the constistency you desire preferably as pictured. Use whole bag of peas. May need more water add 1/4 cup at a time.

Let stand in refrigerator for 30 minutes and serve chilled in insulated bowls.
