Is that fake?

Government agencies such as Obama's office would never try to solicit on the Internet. They would post info on any websites with .gov on them.

Yeah, it's typical scam. Usually the first things to identifying spam is:

1) their email name - this can give it away
2) if they list out a web link or email link in the first message, you can guarantee this is :spam: 3 of 4 times.

You know how to remove yourself from these emails right?
You just go to USER CP and go to Edit Options and uncheck this:

Don't forget to save after you uncheck.

Good advice, naisho.

Also, be sure to let Alex or the moderators know so they could do whatever to put stop to it. :)

You are right. I feel that this message is scam. :ty:

Yep, It's definitely a scam.

Naisho and Brian - these are excellent tips to help others to recognize a typical scam. :)

Also if you see a typical scam, more than most of it has some words that are misspelled or the grammar isn't correct either.

I've seen 2 of my friends who were victims of Nigerian Scams going through the aftermath of being scammed. It's terrible. :(

If there's any scams that are occurring in AllDeaf, Please let the Mod team know about it so we can, like Brian said, do whatever we can do to stop this. :)
