Oh Oh Oh... " no later than July 1st" means that it must be before July 1st, not after 7/1/06.

I think I might read right, don't you think so.

I might have learned that this latest update; 1.6.900.700 might be inter-operatability update to allow the relay ca receive vp calls from either vp-100 and vp-200 since there's vp-200 beta testing going on in state of Utah.

and if you guys have Soreson VRS routers SR-200 there's new firmware update 1.1 at SR-200 Router which finally is stable and let me use it longer than before it was in 1.0 which I had to take router offline and go with extra ip address..

for advanced users only! If you do not know how to update the router then don't attempt it and just contact your installer or tech support :)

I just checked for firmware update and noticed there's newer one a 2.0 version, it show the date 4/22/2008 but after updating and I learned it is a Aug 1, 2006 as the firmware date.

but still a 2.0 though... and I noticed that the UPnP setting is fixed (after testing few software in mac os x that use UPnP or NAT-PMP and can confirm it is fixed when in default firmware or 1.1 didn't) now I don't have to muck with Advanced Setting thanks to 2.0's fixed UPnP setting!

Warning: You may lose the setting you made in 1.1. After Updating to 2.0. everything is default...

I recommend to get Dlink EBR-2310 router, it's brand new router and stronger than old Dlink 604, since the VP200 more flexible communication thru the EBR-2310 router and also DDNS server working prefectly for my own VP alphanumberic addy.

DLink 604 - weak and ddns server not working to update for my own vp addy.
DLink EBR-2310 - strong and DDNS server enabled working good for my own vp addy

if you prefer to keep DLink 604 then use VP100, not recommending to get VP200. the old router can lead damage on VP200's compents as my sorenson installer tech told me..
