Son in law returns from Iraq....

My husband's daughter's husband has finally returned home from Iraq where he served for 18 months and he is getting out of the Army!! The Army told the soldiers that in about a year they will have to go back to Iraq!! He was so angry at the news so he is getting out! He would have stayed in the Army and earn 20 year retirement pay but after hearing the news, he is getting out cuz he refuses to go back to Iraqi crap! He is not the only one either!! Isnt that sad?..I think thats so wrong to make these war weary guys go back in a year!! geeezzzzz!!
 
Wow Defee, I am glad that your son in law is okay. Important, he is survive and to be reunited with his family. :)

Oh thank you! yes we are so happy that he is back home safe and sound but worn out! he is so tanned..said that in Iraq is very very hot!!..pretty unbearable but they get a lot of cold water to drink though.
 
Defee, I am glad ur Son In Law made it home safely :P ....I Did not know they had to go back there again... He should be home with his family he been gone all year... Glad u have ur family back together again..... :dance:
 
CONGRATS on yr son in law returning home!

now i stand up for a minute! ( the war has gone on too long and they telling them to come back in a yr u can bet right now abt 85% of those war vets will indeed turn in thier papers and not return to war enuff is enuff if they are stubborn abt this then this is the price the president pays for being stupid enuff just to catch saddam hussien and osama bin laden it's enuff and time to end this we got most of the poeple so time to learn to let go and move on I can bet u right now if we have new president, he ll send all the boys back home cuz it's time to move on we're already WAY below the red zone on our fiances in the US budget, all cuz in the name of war RME at bush ) anyhow WELCOME HOME SON IN LAW!

Thanks, Cheri..we are really relieved and happy that he is home now..we didnt know that these guys have to go back in a year! we were just floored and disgusted! He was there 18 months and thats too darn long enough!

Thanks! Javapride and i totally agree that enough is enough! This poor guy was so happy to be home that he hugged all of us so hard! lol! I got dents in my arms from his squeezin hahaha..j/k..
