Someone like you poem

I made this poem a long time ago, I was bored, and I started to suddenly think about my best friends and how... I didn't know what i would do without them and that I'm lucky enough to have such great friends who are always by my side when i needed them the most. I did a little bit of editing in my poem. But it seems good enough to me! i hope you like it

Someone like you, would know how to cheer me up,
Make me laugh,
Make me smile,
You know how to embarrass me by just being your goofy self.
You make me wonder how I got stuck with this goofy friend of mine.

My best friend, whom I known for years or for just a few months,
Stood by me whenever I am in need of a friend,
Who lend me a shoulder to cry on,
Who knows the right words to say,
Always encouraging me to keep on going
When I feel like giving up.

Someone like you, a stranger who helps me when a bully picks on me,
You would push them away from me
When I’m at my weakest, my most invulnerable point.
And when the bully goes away, you ask me if I’m okay,
You offer your hand to help me up.
You take out a tissue from your pocket and wipe my tears away.

Someone like you who cares for people,
One who helps them out,
Sending them a message.
A role model that everybody won’t forget.

Someone out there needs a friend like you,
That nobody would forget.
Whether you’re a stranger, a hero, a best friend, a role model.
Everybody needs someone like you in his, or her life.
