Smoke alarm for deaf

I wonder anyone of you have deaf smoke alarm is annoying you ?

I have both deaf smoke alarm and normal smoke alarm :)

it is so HUGE ANNOYING ME!!!!! cause 2 smoke alarm are in the hallway up the ceiling (sp) close to kitchen. My ex boyfriend and I was just cooking and didnt anything burn or else and 2 smoke alarm went so CRAZY!!! so we have to keep them to stop it is so annoying me make me pissed me off cause it is not that burn or else while we are cooking in the kitchen. I told my mom about it and she said well keep the door open to keep cool around it will not get alarm.

Once I watch tv and I thought it was ppl went applause and my ex bf came in my bedroom and said it is SMOKE ALARM!!! and I was said oh F**K!! and someone live downstair came up and tell us that smoke alarm is loud and I told the guy from downstair as I said yah yah so took them off and cooking till done then put them back.

Today I was make a gravy from the can and it went the smoke alarm so crazy BEEP BEEP BEEP with the light flash so bright it drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

that alarm as I know deaf cant hear that went me crazy as I hear beep beep when I use my voice and it went low talk that I wonder why my voice is went low but ahh it is alarm went beep beep beep beep beep

That pic for deaf :) .. it drive me crazy oh boy flash and loud! arghhh I hate that too close to kitchen but we have nothing we can do :( my home is so small and want to move out but cant cause i have no $$$$ and still looking for a job.​

I am sure it is very hard time for me from both alarm lol :lol: I know it supposed for safe to leave there cant take them off. if take it off and caught fire without smoke alarm :)

OH my goodness, tell me about it.

I went through it a few weeks ago when I was staying at someone's apartment. I was baking brownies in the oven and when I opened the oven door to check on it, the smoke alarm flashed and I jumped up. I looked around in different directions and said WTF is that?? I thought someone was taking pictures of me. I was not aware about that smoke alarm so I had no idea what the flashing light was. Then I looked up and saw the smoke alarm. I tried to make it stop but I couldn't. It finally stopped flashing on its own. And then it happened again when I was boiling some water on the stove top and I was like oh sh*t not again LOL.

Yes, it can be annoying when it goes off when there is no fire but it is best to leave it there to be safe than be sorry.

oh yeah it drive me crazy lol .. it was installed it last night the guy came in my home and set up and I was in my bedroom and thought he was in shocking himself but nope it was flash smoke alarm it was scare me lol. yah there is no fire when i cook and it want flash which is arghhhhh stupid! lol :lol: very annoying .. in my mind thinking I am not gonna cooking ever again!!!! but need to eat lol. Today it got flashing smoke alarm and I tried whoosh whoosh but doesnt work till itself stop like automacllty (sp).. but I have another smoke alarm that I already whoosh whoosh to make stop! lol
 
:rofl: I can imagine how you came to thinking the guy was electroded.
Same with me I tried to fan the smoke away from the smoke alarm and I even got an electric fan to blow the smoke away :lol:

Hey I want that smoke alarm , I don't even have the flash ones but the beeping sounds, good thing is I can't hear it but the bad thing is how do I know there's a fire going on, looks like I need something with a flash on it to get my attention

If you do not like it anymore you can always send it to Angel :naughty:

Nope you cant have it from mine lol as I need for sleeping when it emegcery (sp) which cant hear so use flashing thur in my eyes to get my attetion lol :lol:

a friend of mine has one... it is WORTH IT... i asked why she got that certain kind.... she made a GREAT POINT... she would rather that it annoy her than be sorry... it goes off if there is a little "steaming" smoke of any kind even though there IS NO FIRE.... because you want to catch a FIRE WHEN IT IS SMALL ... cuz a lot of times... smoke alarms don't "go off" UNTIL AFTER there is a BIG FIRE WITH LOTS OF SMOKE and then by the time the firetrucks arrive... you could lose everything... AM I MAKING SENSE??

i would rather be safe than sorry.... so i would put up with it... :lol: than lose my apt/house ... :thumb:

Yes, you are right. Better be safe than sorry.
I'm thinking about getting one for my own home because I want to feel safe.

It'd be fun to see my guests jump up and ask who in the hell is taking pictures :giggle:
