The forum is called Our pets and Animals, so I wanted to talk about animals more. Well to be more exact Chimpanzees.
I'm sure everyone here knows about Washoe and her signing chimpanzee family. Well I hope. If not, I just wanted to give out their website so if anyone was interested they could learn a little about, or just even browse the page.

Washoe's story is amazing! She is amazingly brillant and so is the rest of her chimp family.
The reason for this random post is that this summer I will be living at Central Washington University's dorms as an apprenticeship to their Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute program. I am very excited because I get to meet the 3 signing chimps that they have left there, Dar, Tatu, and Loulis.
I am super excited about this and just wanted to give everyone their website just in case there was someone who wanted to learn about the chimps.
