Sign Connection to perform at Yankees opener | The Abington Journal, Clarks Summit, PA

The Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children student performance group, Sign Connection, will perform the National Anthem in front of a crowd of Scranton-Wilkes-Barre Yankees fans at PNC Field Sept. 3 at 7:05 p.m.

“We are tremendously proud of the students in Sign Connections and are thrilled that they will again represent our wonderful school community in this significant way,” stated Don Rhoten, Superintendent of The Scranton School. “They perform our National Anthem so beautifully and their talent and poise reflects so well on our school and our community. I know that they will give it their best and we’re all pulling for him.”

The Scranton School for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Children adheres to an all-inclusive communication policy while offering a comprehensive learning environment to provide educational programs and services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students of all ages, their families and others who may benefit.
