Siberians and chocolate lab.

I think these animals are just gorgeous! Adopting an animal is one of the best way to go, saving creatures when they need saving.

yup i second that, I happen to volunteer at a animal shelter. i want a dog too, there is one i am interested but circumstance holds me back a bit, mainly because of the finance involving to build a gate which I cant afford right now. I really hope Tama doesnt find a home too soon or i'd miss out. but then if he goes, its fate i have to accept and surely there will be another one along the way. another worry though, it is the food/oil crisis we're all heading too. dreadful thinking.

When the time is right and you know it deep inside, then you're ready to adopt. When adoption is good, there are people out there who does not grasps the concept of what adoption is all about, it takes time, dedication in taking care of these pets. They most likely go through emotional adjustment when a family has abandon them, they may not understand why and all of a sudden they are adopted into a new family, a new environment for them to adjust to. People sometimes don't understand what it takes to work closely with these pets, the cost involved, materials that they need to buy, the vet costs, personal time they need to invest in building relationship. Too many people adopt and then realized...give them back to shelter. People need to be educated on the subject of adoption.
