Shift of Earth's magnetic north pole impacts Tampa airport

Interesting!! I didn't know it's shifting toward Russia. Maybe soon Russia be the "Communist North Pole" and Santa would be mean Totalitarian 'Clause, give kids all coals! (j/k).

Yes, Earth are shifting its pole and Science channel mentioned that Earth is due for magnetic pole reversal.

Since that it's moving 40 miles a year to Russia. Can you imagine that each year, Russia would be colder and "former" south pole would become warmer and melted away and perhap ice up at South America. Who knows!! USA would be much warmer during winter season and Canada would experience warm seasons. I doubt it would be scary tho but would experience funky weather. (remember earth spins at its axis. Pole on Axis moves so does Earth shifts. I may have noticed that sun rise bit early and set later on January which is the darkest time of the year. I recalled when I was young, It darks at 4:30pm or bit early, now today, it darks at 5:15 or bit later.

I'm very sure that entire world that own a globes would have to toss it out and revise a new globe with North Pole pegged on Russia and South Pole pegged on South America :rofl:

Who knows some day (50 or more years later) Equator would be South Pole and Asia would be North Pole (my guess).

I saw that the other day; fascinating as there is probably nothing we can do about the reversal of magnetic fields.

What's really sad about this situation is that scientists have known it's been slowly shifting.....Hmmmm.I wonder if it has a radical shift could it throw Earth off its orbit pattern, hense causing a catastrophic result to our solar system ...yaya..I think so..another Big bang!!

A polar shift doesn't necessarily mean the end of the Earth. As a matter of fact Earth's poles have shifted several time throughout it's history. It means that weather patterns will change. Earth will continue to spin on it's axis as it always has, only her surface will have shifted.

The north and south magnetic poles can also switch places, and this last happened about 780,000 years ago

Yeah, I know. Sounds like we are in for a ride. I posted this because most people are in denial about pole shifts, and squawking about extreme weather, but here is an explanation. Oh well.
