Interesting to see this video link, as I didn't know that shaking hands spread more germs than kissing!!
Did you know about it? - should we wearing gloves to protest ourselves like the Queen?
Some people carrying a Baby Lotion wipers with them all the time and wipe the shopping trolley, stairs handle etc.
Dr/surgeons wash their hands following a special instructions how to do it posters display at the clinic, and of course I always wash my hands after toilet and before food preparing, but since I see here, I think I will wash my hands more often!
Looking at my hands, I can't imagine its carrying full of germs than kissing people, - It sounds impossible.

Shake Hands:
When you meet people or get introduced to people, you always shake hands with each other. Shaking hands is part of the social behaviour and also a part of German business culture. It would be impolite not to do so.
