Silent Gamers Quake Live Tournament Announced
Silent Gamers, an online gaming league dedicated to satisfying the gaming needs of the Quake Live deaf and hard of hearing community, has announced a 32 player tournament. This tournament will begin on February 21st at 19:00 GMT. This initial tournament is to raise awareness of the league and the cause. As a result, the tournament will feature 16 invited players and 16 chosen from the signups. Signups are currently open and the tournament packs promise already with names such as rapha, zero4, vo0 and dkt in the lineup among others.The tournament will run as a double elimination bracket with matches played as a best-of-three. The final match will be a best-of-five series. To the victor will go the spoils. Silent Gamers are putting up a prize of $200 for the winner.
