Seven people including four deaf, lost in woods, are found
Seven adults including four who are deaf, were lost in woods Saturday night in the Lexington area of Greene County. They were all found by early Sunday morning, state DEC officials said.
The seven were near a boarding house at 1518 Sprucetown Road in Lexington when forest rangers were called in. Two of the seven returned within hours, but the remaining five, including four deaf individuals, were not located for nearly 12 hours after the incident at around 7 a.m. Sunday.
DEC authorities indicated none of people required hospitalization.
