Seeking Deaf people in Des Moines / Ankeny, Iowa area

Are there any deaf social groups in the Ankeny or Des Moines area? My son is deaf, and recently moved to Ankeny, Iowa to attend school. He doesn't know any other deaf people in the area and would like to make some friends there.
