A 5 foot long, 70-pound alligator named Wally-Gator was discovered in a Milwaukee home and confiscated by the police. Wally's owner, Lee Rau, says that he and his family did not know keeping an alligator as a pet was illegal in Milwaukee. The family has attempted to get their pet back but police put a hold on the gator and have not said whether the reptile's owner will face any charges. Currently Wally is resting comfortably inside the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control shelter.
