HO HO HO!

some of you may have a Secret Santa Party at your work, school, home, etc. so spit it out! what did you get for somebody else and what did you get?

I had a Secret Santa party at my work last Friday and the price limit is $25.

I got a $25 Amazon gift card and I got my colleague a wall clock and he absolutely loves it. it's not like some mass-produced clock at big stores. it's a wooden clock with a swinging thing and it looks like it can be found only at local mom n' pop store which is where I got it from. It's a fantastic $20 find!

it kinda looks like this without U-shape at bottom and has a lighter color.

On the second thought, I'd prefer that we stick with "real thing" so that perhaps we all can learn from it if some of you have trouble finding a great gift for others. And also just for merry curiosity to see what you got and what you gave.

The ladies in my MIL's weight loss group asked me to participate in their gift exchange along with MIL. Our limit was $20. I gave a set of glassware that has decorative lines for the ounces for better measuring for the calorie counting. I received a gift basket with all kinds of samples from Whole Foods for dairy free snacks and such. Each sample had a coupon. They had the store make it up special.
 
I played it at my work back in 2003.I think the limit was $10 or maybe $15 back then. Very different back then..........
