News for Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa

The Board of Regents is looking for someone to take over as superintendent of the School for the Deaf in Sioux Falls.

Maureen Schloss is leaving after three years as superintendent to rejoin the faculty at Northern State University.

The Regents have started the search process and hope to have a replacement hired by the start of the school year.

The Board of Regents oversees the School for the Deaf and the School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, as well as the six state universities.
