Does not the government pay attention to the happenings around them? The deaf community has been getting poked out of its low-key existence by these meddlers “fixing things.” The pot is beginning to boil.
I have three children attending WSD and do know for a fact that these schools serve their purpose. You cannot compare abilities of deaf with those of hearing, assuming to lump them together.
I was raised hearing, am late deaf but I will not try to make my children fit in where they lose out. Theirs is the deaf community (and mine, too).
