Local briefs, Nov. 6, 2010 - The Santa Fe New Mexican
Gov. Bill Richardson announced Friday that he is making $100,000 in stimulus funds available to the New Mexico School for the Deaf to finish the financing for and the installation of a new heating and cooling system.
The money is coming from Richardson's discretionary funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Voters in previous general obligation bond elections approved $900,00 for the heating and cooling project. The $100,000 will allow the school to complete the project.
