Schiavo to Undergo Autopsy to End Debate -- Lawyer

Netrox, I am sure that is all so. However, this autopsy just might find, among other things, that all's not well in Denmark if/when a Florida prosecutor one day announces you-know-what. What with the advances of forensic sciences these days, who knows, right?

Because there's NO use to have her implant removed. It doesn't have any effect on her brain - it's not killing her nor improving her so just better leave it alone!

It is better to leave it alone. I can attest to that. I have a shunt implanted in my brain that's been there since I was about a month old. Over the years, it's been debated whether or not the shunt is still functioning due to my body's ability to compensate for the fluid build up. The question has come up whether or not removing the shunt would be a good idea. I was told absolutely NOT! It is NOT a good idea to go in there and try to remove it, because, it is so deeply imbedded in brain tissue that removing it would actually be more dangerous to me than leaving it alone would be. I don't know if this was true in Terri's situation, but I would guess that was probably why they opted not to remove the implants.

Oh, okay. Maybe you are right. It could be why they decided to leave the implants in Terri's brain alone. ^^;

Implanted machine inside the brain... *which cannot send her cremate because too dangerous and can be side effection cremate will break* Creamate's policy must metal things/implanted stuff removed it before entering the creamte the dead body.

A medical examiner says there was no evidence of strangulation or other trauma leading to the collapse of the woman who became the focus of a right-to-die dispute.

The autopsy also found that her brain was about half of normal size when she died.

Medical Examiner Jon Thogmartin says her brain was "profoundly atrophied" and that the damage was "irreversable." He also says, "The vision centers of her brain were dead," meaning she was blind.
