I saw the audi today. Most of the findings were expected. My left ear tests at 50db and slopes to 70 db. My right ear 60db sloping to 100db. This is about 10 db worse than the last time. No big deal. The part that worries me is speech recognition. My left ear got and 84% at comfort level and 100% when she bumped up the volume. My right ear scores an 80% no matter what. Two years ago both ears scored 100%. She seemed very worried about the scores being so much lower but wouldn't say what it could be. Does anybody know what cold cause this? She referred me to an ENT so I should be seeing them soon. In the mean time I'd like to know what cold possibly be wrong.
She adjusted my ha today and said they were almost maxed out on my right side but she doesn't think they need to change just yet. They sound much better now that they are adjusted!
