Hello, I am reaching out as a third year student in the School Psychology Psy.D. Program at Gallaudet. The university recently proposed to permanently close our program. Our program is the only place in the world where school psychologists are trained to specialize in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. We have a student- led petition and are encouraging individuals and organizations to write letters to the Gallaudet Board of Trustees, President, Provost, and Dean to support the preservation of our program.
