If this was allowed in US schools, then 90% of the behavior problems in school would stop...overnight. Just saying...
 
*shrugs* they said she struck her with a glass on her head which could've killed her, possibly causing serious head injury or brain damage. She should've thought of it before doing something stupid over a cell phone.

What if the lashings with 90 or 100 lashes would kill a human being like the girl or the woman (40 lashes) before going to prison for their crime which is unnecessary Q. Yeah, I understand that the girl need to be punished for hitting the headmistress with a glass, but not the lashes. It is wrong for her to hit the headmistress. Here in USA and Canada, we do not have lashes except to go to prison or jail for the crimes that they committed. There were dangerous men in many maximum prisons that are worsed and we could not sentence them to death penalty for what they did which mean murdered. Only some who had to go to death row and wait out for the death sentence. But for a young girl or an old 75 years old woman, that is pretty harsh and cruel to have the lashes like that. :( That method is very old and should have change from the old to the new. :dunno:

Well, I was kind of thinking that with 90 lashes, the whipper would go easier on me over the span of a one-session 90 lashes vs 9 sessions of 10 lashes, they would go full tilt each time. :D
 
I am not for lashes at all. Hard time for assault maybe but not lashes.
