Sad news my mom's dog Ricky is passed away :( :( :(

My mom put Ricky to vet this morning then pick me up and go to food shopping what I need then drop me off and then went to vet what is going on and found out have cancer tumor in Ricky's stomach so my mom put Ricky to sleep. My mom is really very very very upset and cried that Ricky is passed away and I miss Ricky cause I love to pat him as he love it when I came for visit my mom's home that Ricky always came up to me and I pat him all the times but now miss him not at my mom's home :( as you can see the picture of Ricky


As you can see his throat have lump that the blue banadage (spelling) cover it so you can see lump there and then next now have cancer tumor in his stomach.

Yeah :hug: .. Glad my mom keep Ricky around our family cause her ex boyfriend doesnt want that dog so give it to my mom before kicked him out of my mom's home. Glad to see him around in my family.

I cant spelling " Abonded " that her ex boyfriend wont keep the dog Ricky. Dont know why cause of Ricky have lump on his throat ? give it to my mom as my mom is stuck with Ricky so decided keep Ricky with us till now he is passed away. Glad Ricky is with us as family. :)
 
sorry to hear. RIP! wow got alots good memories with that lovely dog in those years.

yeah but not for a years .. just got him to keep at my mom's home about 3 yrs. cuase his owner doesnt want him so my mom keep him.
 
oh sweetie. im so sorry for the loss. i know its hard. i myself have 2 dogs.. one of my dog has a tumor in her stomach but we got it removed by surgery. it successful. the size was so huge. its about softball ball size. not baseball but softball size. that was pretty huge but they got it out and shes doing great.. did the vet removed the tumor or attempt to do this?

I dont know did the vet removed the tumor, but Ricky have lump in his throat which his owner doesnt want remove the lump cause he said if remove Ricky's lump it will died so he keep the lump in Ricky's for a long time dont know how long till my mom find out that the dog was fell off and got sore leg dont know what happened to Ricky so she took Ricky to vet last week then later it getting more sick wondering why so she took Ricky to vet yesterday (wed) then later on today (thur) she took ricky to vet again to get some test and found out that ricky have cancer tumor in the stomach dont know how long there have cancer in the stomach. So I am sure her ex-boyfriend dont know what to do with Ricky cause it is his own dog but he doesnt want keep Ricky so give it to my mom which my mom got stuck to keep the dog cause she have another pets dog name Kali and the cat name Bear, and the fishes so she decided keep Ricky with us till find out have cancer tumors in their stomach. I dont know how Ricky got cancer tumor came from.

I was told my mom that I dont know if it is her ex boyfriend not right feed Ricky when live with the guy before move in to live with my mom. Cause I notice it that her ex boyfriend feed Ricky of Beer, candy, real meat, cheese, chips, dog foods, not sure other more. He did that not right feed to my mom's dog Kali. My mom is not like that and she only feed them dog foods that is all not others.

i see.. did the vet ever tell u if they are attemping to save his life? its probably pointless to ask because he is in dog heaven and chasing pretty lad dogs! :)

I didnt go to the vet :) .. My mom went to the vet. Probably I rather not go and ask my mom about it cause she is really very very upset and miss Ricky so much. I do miss Ricky so I want to give her a time till she feel better then I will ask her. :) .. But probably Ricky is too old and didnt know there have cancer in the stomach to take long time which I dont know. So I can wait to give her a time. :)

yeah its not good idea to ask right now especially when she just lost him. maybe you should go over and comfort your mom... maybe she would like your support but of course u know your mom

Yeah. Maybe I will ask my grandmother cause my mom always talk to my grandmother which is her mom :) so I can ask my grandmother abut it :)
 
It is sad to see Ricky's departure. RIP

Sorry to see him go, as the photo shown what a beautiful Alastian dog.
 
I am sure when I visit my mom's home and will feel funny there is no Ricky with us just only Kali and Bear and the fishes that is all. Miss Ricky :(
 
I hope so you understand that Ricky was with us for 3 yrs and till my mom kicked her ex boyfriend out last January 2007. Her ex boyfriend doesnt want Ricky with him so gave it to my mom. I hope so you understand to got it :)
 
I'm sorry to hear about Ricky passed away, my prayers and thoughts to your mom and families and friends who know Ricky, he does look like an very beautiful German Shepherd. hugz
 
Such a lovely dog and so sorry Ricky's gone--I'm sure you, your Mom has plenty of good memories of Ricky. ;)

There wasn't any mention of how old Ricky was--soo, how old?

Like LisaMarie suggested, go on and spend some comforting times with your Mom--share the memories you do have and perhaps go over photos (that is if your Mom's up to it) of Ricky if any were taken. ;)


Do take good care and hang in there. :)

Yeah will ask if she dont mind to answer the questions :) so I would like to give her a time or I can ask my grandmother cause all I know my mom talk to her then I ask my grandmother so my grandmother can answer it what my mom said. :) and also Ricky is 14 yrs old.

yes German shepherd mix with which I forgot dang I will ask my mom when she feel better then will answer it :) ..
 
I am sorry about Ricky's passing away..

hes in doggie heaven with suffer-free!
