CHARITY bosses are urging Glasgow runners to go the distance for a worthwhile cause.

The Royal National Institute for the Deaf is offering places for the Flora London Marathon on April 23.

Participants need to raise £1500 for the charity and be reasonably fit.
All runners will receive entry to the race, free accommodation and travel to the marathon.

Polly Hughes, senior events fundraising executive, says: "You will not only be setting yourself the ultimate fitness challenge, but raising vital funds to change the world for the one in seven deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK."

All cash raised will be used to support the charity's services around the country, including deaf and hard of hearing children in education.

For more information, or to join the RNID Flora London Marathon team, call the Events Team on 0845 634 0687 or e-mail events@rnid.org.uk
