Robo Calls

[Hear Again]

I thought it wouldn't happen to me, but it did. I received a robo call (a robo call is an automated telemarketing phone call) a few minutes ago courtesy of the GOP. The message urged me to complete my absentee ballot as soon as possible and mentioned something about gun rights. (I didn't really hear that part.) I don't know why, but I'm annoyed by the idea of robo calls. After I heard that the McCain campaign would be using them, it angered me. I'm sorry, but I don't need a voice recording telling me how I should vote. I'm quite capable of doing my own research, thank you very much. (And by the way, I would say the same thing if it were the Obama campaign using robo calls.) :roll:

There was an incident in California where petitioners were going around encouraging people to sign a petition for animal rights and to fight against animal cruelty... only to find out later that their democratic registration was converted to republican registration or absentee.
