Road to Mac OS X Leopard: Safari 3.0

Where can I find Virtaul Earth? Never heard of it before.

If you have Firefox 2 or 3 but Firefox 3 is best experience to browse the virtual earth, more smoother and less error than Firefox 2 due new codes.

Go to Live Local Search

It called Live Search Maps, Firefox 3 is recommended for Mac OS X and IE 7/Firefox 3 for Windows (XP and Vista).

okay, I test on windows xp with ACID3

IE6 - 14%
Firefox - 53%
Safari - 75%

impressive

What's version of Firefox that you use?

Opera- 46%
Firefox 3- 68%
IE7- 5%, 12% after several seconds later (tested under Vista, that's worst one)

WebKit recently update and made 100% on ACID3. impressive.

Also, there is new lately Opera made 100%, of course, it won't release for few weeks later.

Looks like Opera got wrong and went back in race again. Because Apple discovered bug in ACID3! Put Opera back in race and no place for it!

Last minute changes to Acid3
Just as Reddit is celebrating Opera reaching 100/100, with the misleading headline Opera the first browser to pass the Acid3 test (hey, submitter: it wouldn't hurt to read the Opera blog post before submitting it to Reddit), the Apple guys track me down and point out that there's yet another bug in the test. With heycam's help, we have now fixed the test. Again. This presumably means Opera is now at 99/100... the race continues!

I have to say, by the way, that the relevant parts of the SVG spec are truly worthless. Where are the UA conformance criteria? You'd think a spec that was so verbose and detailed would actually tell you stuff, instead of just rambling on without actually saying what the requirements were...

We will see who win either Opera or Webkit. ACID3 will make an announce. There is no word of who win yet.

It look like Opera made 99/100 during one error because of SVG specs that something I don't understand. Then Webkit is still 100% but have tiny problem with animation.

Yet, I don't see problem when I visit at ESPN website with ton of animation. Will find more with other animation error or whatever. Maybe slow down, I guess.

Good news, Virtual Earth is working on Safari now.

Just open Safari and click Live Maps

Enjoy

Also, if you get loading... after several seconds then just hit "reload or refresh" and supposed to be shown up.

For me, I'm still prefer to use Firefox 3 for Virtual Earth because of seems little unstable on Safari.
