Well, a few weeks ago I traded a 53" rear projection for a couple riding mowers and the following day I traded my wedding band for another rider.
My buddy who provided paint and body work for 2 of my street rod/show truck build that I have known since grade school ( and also has spinal injuries ) that has helped me alot these past few years, I decided to clean one up and give to him as a token of Thanks for all his help over the years (he has never charged me for materials and supplies nor his labor)

So, last night..actually into this morning, I charged the battery which is fairly new and held a charge, took the carb off and completely rebuilt it, installed everything and she fired right up!

I sent him a message to let him know he needs to come help me again to load a rider in the van so I can get it out of the garage with him not knowing we are delivering it to his house ( I am headed over there anyways to hardwire a compressor for him in the garage and we will probly custom paint the riders at a later date, but he has about a 1/2 acre like I do to cut so this will simplify his life as mine is going to do for me since its too big for a push mower.

I am just glad I can do something for him once, although I did paint his house and lay a complete new floor for him awhile back, but this will surpass everything and make his yardwork easier for him.

Now I just need a battery for mine and Im good to go as well.

Dang... I misinterpreted the meaning of "riders". Thought this would be a motorcycle thread

Thats quite alright, I am a Rider myself... My last was an 05 HD XL1200C custom I sold in 2007 wish I kept it now since it was free and clear (paid off) oh well, one day again.

Cool. I would prefer rider over a projection TV. Those technologies get old fast and loses value fast. Riding mowers hold value fairly well. I think you came out on top of that deal. Be proud :).
