I have an exam on the 14th and I'm struggling to remember which theorists did what e.g Chomsky-LAD. I just cant remember the information and I HAVE to know this for the exam. The paper is 3 hours long and I will have extra time if I do need it, which I never really need. I'm studying Diploma in Childcare And Education and need to know lot of stuff and remember it all!
Anybody got any tips, techniques?
The amount of theorist puts me off then I dont know what they did!
Jerome Bruner, Maria Montessori, Susan Isaacs, John Bowlby, Albert Bandura, Noam Chomsky, Lev Vygotsky

how about creating a visual diagram that alphabetically lists each theorist and their theory? i don't how good you are at memorizing facts in a visual manner, but it always helps me to create a visual diagram so i have a picture in my head of the things i need to remember.

another suggestion is to write down the name of each theorist on one side of an index card and the theory they were responsible for on the other. you might also want to include a few details which explain why a given theory is significant. after you've done that, memorize each index card by studying the name of each theorist followed by their particular theory. then do the opposite by studying the name of each theory followed by the name of the theorist who created it.

one final suggestion is to use colored index cards. the color coding might help aid you in remembering key words and details.

hope this helps.
