I am just stunned... the show, "Modern Family" has gay parents with adopted child.. and I'd think Republicans would not watch it but this survey shows that it's their third favorite show, after Glenn Beck and Amazing Race!

Shocking.

Ironically, I've never seen the TV show but I hear it's pretty funny. :)
 
I'm an independent. The only program I like is NCIS. Once in a while I watch Law and Order.

I've heard of some of the others but not watched them. About half of them I've never even heard of.
 
It's funny... the only networks I usually watch on TV is Foxnews, CNN, Health, and Bravo.
 
The cable networks that I normally watch are FOXNEWS, HGTV, HLN, TCM, A&E, TLC, HISTORY, DISCOVERY, and TRUTV. I watch NBC, ABC, and CBS for local news, and a few shows.
 
Modern Family is hilarious.... It's in my top 5. *shrug* But then again I am independent too.
 
My most favorite show is Dog the Bounty Hunter and Pranked, both from A&E and MTV.

There are other that my favorite shows are Family Guy, Jackass, Moving In, Punk'd, Real world, True life, Rob and Big and others, mostly on MTV.
 
I know quite several conservatives who are huge fans of 30 Rock, Closer, Law & Order SVU and The Big Bang Theory.

As for American Idol, it is already getting worse every year. Many viewers decided to not watch it anymore.

I like Law & Order SVU, because it's got great characters. I do miss Alex Cabot. I watch Lie to me and How I met your mother.

I like NCIS, but have no time to watch it. I remember vaguely one of the characters (scientist with black ponytails who drinks Big Gulp all the time) knows ASL because of her deaf mother or grandmother or aunt?????
 
Kind of a funny list - can anyone who's seen more of these shows explain why they would appeal to their respective ideology.

Oddly enough, Mad Men is the 2nd highest in the Democrat category, but it's my dad's favorite show and he's very Republican :lol:
 
Oddly, I vote Democratic but I like most of the shows in the Republican list. Meh.
 
Seriously? :hmm:
I cannot imagine Olbermann being the most watched show by Democrats. Same with Beck and Republicans.
