Democrats think that after their Democrat leader become President,
then the Iraq war will stop.
That isn't true.
Okay... another nonsense thread you all may say...
but my point is...
You would think JFK...
You know JFK, the democrat...
John F. Kennedy, you heard of him?
You would think JFK would stop the Vietnam war or withdrew our troops
from Vietnam. But he didn't.
You would think Lyndon B. Johnson would stop the Vietnam war or withdrew our troops from Vietnam. But he didn't.
Guess who stopped the Vietnam War...
NIXON.
Yeah, that is right. And he wasn't a Democrat. NOPE. of course not.
See here... Richard Nixon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and
look at McCain in the black and white picture shaking hands with Nixon.
Let me copy and paste in case you can't find it in Wikipedia....
Once in office, he proposed the Nixon Doctrine, a strategy of replacing American troops with the Vietnamese troops, also called "Vietnamization."
Did you read that???
In July 1969, he visited South Vietnam, and met with President Nguyen Van Thieu and with U.S. military commanders. American involvement in the war declined steadily until all American troops were gone in 1973. After the withdrawal of U.S. troops, fighting was left to the South Vietnamese army.
SEE.
Although the South Vietnamese were well supplied with modern arms, their fighting capability was limited by inadequate funding, low morale, and corruption. The lack of funding was primarily because of large funding cutbacks by the U.S. Congress.
Nixon was widely praised in the United States for having delivered 'peace with honor', and ended American involvement in the war in Vietnam.
YES... a REPUBLICAN earned PEACE WITH HONOR.
