Yep...Shadow the hedgehog, who made his first appearance in Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast in 2001, and appeared also in Sonic Heroes for mulit platforms.

Shadow will be begining his own game coming this fall for the Playstation 2 and GameCube...proably Xbox, as well.

Sega would proably show more of this stuff at E3 this May. it sounds kinda cool, though.

thought ya were refering to the final fantasy 6 game (3 for snes) till the "hint: sonic...", damn.
ya, shadow the hedgehog game.
ive never been interested in sonic the hedgehog game (except the 16-bit era in its old time) so i might pass this game.
if the game's darker to suit my taste, tho, i might consider checking this out.

UPDATE: Game Informer said that 'Shadow the Hedgehog' game will be available this holiday season. I'm not sure if it's Sega's official release date until '05 E3.

After watching trailer from Game Informer website, it blew up me off! I'll look forward to play that game. :fingersx:

Something's puzzling me... Sega made kiddy Sonic games but now make violence 'Shadow' game with weapons? Boy, violence games getting out of control....
 
While I thought it was pretty cool that Shadow is getting his own game, but as long as I didn't hear about the "guns" and the "fruits" yet I thought it was just a joke but then I just watched the trailer today...I was so damn confused if that was just an early april's prank or not...but I guess not. I mean...c'mon! a hedgehog using guns as murderous weapons against other enemies?!!? that's so punisher-style...and I didn't see any "fruits" in the trailer so I can only hope that one was just a JOKE...I mean, watermelon slices?!!? what the hell is wrong with Sega? even Donkey Kong used the water melon slices to spice up his health as he goes around beatin the crap out of the baddies dropping out supplies like bananas, watermelons, and other items like in Doney Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64.

using fruits instead of rings is actually pretty gay. and the guns? on the hedgehog like Shadow? I'm not so sure... I mean, I actually liked playing as shadow on the "evil side" in Sonic Adventure 2 and he's as cool as Sonic.

I don't really know about this game, but I guess I could just give this a try sometime when there's a demo of this game in stores around the holiday season...

naw, I'm sure Sega will still continue producing the Sonic series ever since 1989 on Genesis with Sonic Team.
