Remember I have sk2 prob-need other question

Some of you may remember my SK2 camera doesn't work.. I did went to tmobile at mall of america earlier this month, they said I have to exchange my sk2 at where I orginally purchased my sk2.... How do I exchange for new sk2, do I have to bring warranty, whole stuff that was with sk2, or just sk2 cell only to tmobile near my home to exchange for new one... Can anyone help me out here, if anyone had their own sk2 cellphone exchanged... Will everything such as contact info, impt info that are on my cell will be gone or I have to write them all down but I do have access to sk2 internet interface as well. I would appreciate your help-i'll be going to t mobile after work tomorrow.....
 
I guess no one gonna answer my question, so I'm gonna do it myself without your help since no one answer my question anymore.... Oh well, life suck, doesn't it?
 
No, you n eed to call 1 800 937 8997 if you still have warranty. If not and you have insurance, call 866 268 7221.

They will send you another one to replace it, but you will need to send back the sidekick 2 after you get the new one.
 
Go by this way, if your sidekick is less than 1 year old, please CALL T-mobile and tell them what the problem with the sidekick, if it's a problem that can't be fixed and they will be happy to transfer u to a person to take care of the exchange program and they will send u a refribished one and u send in the old one after u receive the "new" one. It depends if your warranty expired (1 year) that's all I know of, hope this helps. :)
 
:aw: Your life doesn't suck, just the Sidekick. You can also try going into the T-Mobile Center, and explain to the sales associate what is going on with your Sidekick, and they will call the customer service representative. The screen on my Sidekick 2 was so erractic and rolling, so I took it to the Center and showed the Sales Associate and she called the C ustomer Care Service, and through the phone conversation, I was getting a new Sidekick in a couple of days, and I have to return my old one. The people at Sidekick are very helpful.

Geesh. I don't even have a Sidekick, and I'm more familiar with it than my own cell phone. I may not have one, but if any of my friends ever need to know how to do a hard or soft reset on it, I can do it. I guess its kind of sad that I have the T Mobile customer service memorized, when I have no use for it. But halfway joking, I wish people had more problems with their sidekicks. Calls to T-Mobile are a relief from regular calls.

When you purchased the SK2 cellphone? if don't know then you can go to Tmo store and give your cellphone nbr and they can look your account for your last purchased with activation started. if less than 1 year, you still have exchange the cellphone, keep the your SIM card and get new one and put your SIM into new unit, they'll uploads into your cellphone and same cellphone nbr.. you don't have worry about it..

Or expired warranty, then you have to pay $70 to replace it, but you'll get refurbished cellphone..
 
Thanks for advice by those people above.. I did called last nite, and did test they asked me... Camera still not work, so I'm gonna call them later when I get home tonight. Any more advices are welcome as well :happy:
 
"orginally purchased my sk2" what it really means is that you have to go back to WHERE you bought your SK. But I assume that you bought it more than 15 days ago, so this suggestion is no longer valid anyway.

Really, you need to call Tmobile directly for any warrant repairs or replace. This includes insurance replacement as well. That is AFTER 15 days that you bought it. It is Tmobile's new policy.

There is no other way around calling Tmobile directly. Sorry for the unfortunately inconvience.

I do have sk2 and had plms with it that first time which I bought was last spring lol but anyway for while suddenly it got froze for some reason so I called and got exchanged for it after they did try explain on how to do getting restore but none works so far so finally had to exchanged... so I am sure u will get exchange for it!! So best of luck!
