When I was a young child, I was told I wouldn't be able to hear outta both ears/
I shed a tear, at the young age of three, I had already been dealt a catastrophe/
but I wasn't about to decree that I was gonna give up to be the person I wanted to be/
so I cleaned away the debris, tryin' to grow up to be a kid that my parents could foresee/
but this for the kids who send out a plea, feel like they drowning in the big ass sea/
I tell them just try to set your mind free man, it will take you places that you want to be man/
now see, I went through a tough time too, I ain't gonna argue/
I was jealous of the ***holes who felt they knew than I do/
but I grew up, instead of trying to spew hate, I decided to reiterate to the people who don't know enough/
to the ones that confuse the truth tryin' to look tough/
to the ones that huff and puff tryin' to look rough/
I realize I'm hearing impaired, but it don't make me scared/
I ain't feeling no despair, I'm almost to the top of where I want to be/
in fact if you look real hard, you can see that I'm already there/
as carefree as I ever wanted to be...

If you hate it, that's fine with me, this is one of my first poems, just something to get off my chest.
