Spiritual Warfare in Redding and Shasta County
Yes, in the Bible, it is written, "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy." But what is a Prophet ?, we read further,"But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men." and again "He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church." (1 Corinthians 14 v. 3&4)
As a Christian, how do we obtain the spiritual gift of Prophesy ? Can we knock down people and call fire down from heaven like some T.V. pastors do ?, they sure make alot of money, Church's that are so rich they could be a bank.( 2 Thessalonians 2 v. 11, Revelation 13 v.13).
