Question about video phones

I know there are several video phones like Purple, CSD (Z340), and Sorenson. The question is here is how I can talk to people to non sorenson device where I have sorenson?
 
Depending what the videophone it is, you would need to dial in the individuals' IP addresses.

Let assume here, I am using Sorenson VP and I want to call let say to a person who are in USA and have either CSD Z340 or Purple MVP.

I know one method is using the IP number but what about the other method like Local number or what?

Should use 10-digital numbers as local number to call in any VPs like MVP, VPAD, etc.
 
10 digit numbers only work in the USofA...

You are stuck using ip numbers outside of the USofA....
