Question about cold cut slices turkey or chicken from Deli!

Today I went to the food store. I give note to Deli that what I want cold cuts then grabs other foods. Return to Deli and got cold cuts...


I went home.. I dislike one of the cold cut turkey slices because their red spots on it. I am taking it return to the store tomorrow!


My Question...

You know that must cook chicken or turkey well and not good to eat with some red or pink meats!

Same thing cold cut turkey or chicken with red spots its safe to eat?

I wouldn't eat it. I think it is a vein and shouldn't show red if it was really well cooked.

Blood vein with pink around ! Of course I am not eating it!

Always remember if you are not sure about the quality of the meat/cut.. take it back.

I usually avoid the store's deli cuts because they are very high in sodium.
