Nice comparsion with all the AWD cars. The VW barely made it lol
Yes, VW made it to middle but can't made it at top.

vehicles that runs on highway gets almost none of wear even though it appears to be. The only thing that wears while on the highway is just tires itself. In fact for every 10 miles on highway equals one mile on the city street.
I would buy car that has over 100K highway miles than those with city miles!
High compression ratio, short stroke, and hi-performance camshaft , willYou should know that since you are "mechanic" person.
Few cylinders = high rpm and low torque and More cylinders = low rpms and high torque.
Low rpms and high torque is great for long life.
Remember E-250 V8 is slower than Accord V6.
big cooler for big tranny. I think F250 use E4OD tranny. very big and heavyTrue if driver turn off Overdrive. We alway do when we tow trailer if there hill but for flat we turn Overdrive.
Have you see F250 superduty's transmission cooling? That reason why transmission last long by have HUGE cooling on front of radiator.
High compression ratio, short stroke, and hi-performance camshaft , will
produce hi rev and low torque that apply to small and large liter / cubic inch displacement engine and can be gain more torque to equal to horsepower that is depend on camshaft's performance character. Low compression ratio or long
stroke will not produce hi rev.
Chuckle.. same to me. I'm an old school mechanic, no worry abt the timing chains replacements on the OHV V6 or V8 or Inline-4 or 6 engines.Army truck have 2 battery which is 12 volts. They help start easy and power all stuff like radios or light.
Most time they gave up and sell on government auction. Like they didn't finish half apart.
How come Honda need 9 timing belts? Ford van doesn't replace timing chains. I rather find cars that don't have timing belt because I don't like replace at 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
Right, the longest life in timing componments is geared sprockets (cam/crankAre you really sure about that? I'm sure he replaced the timing chain too. No timing belt/chain lasts forever. Timing chain lasts slightly longer than the timing belt counterparts, I think.
big cooler for big tranny. I think F250 use E4OD tranny. very big and heavy
tranny. Drive position for uphill. You are right.
Hmm what year of your Jeep?
Yes VERY HUGE I never knew that cooler until we remove radiator to replace power steering pump on 01 F250. They are almost 2 feets wide and 1 feet height. I think it could be tow package with that cooler. But I was thought it small like cereal box.
Agree timing belt for quiet.
Those person who never drove on highway and think their car is worth because low miles. I check oil I say forgot it junk. Why I could see valvetrain clog by wax stuff.
Foxrac
Hey have you look at Saturn ?
Ok
What cars you really want to have?
If it was me I pick Ford Escort they are cheap and get 35 mpg easy. Or Mercedes diesel it get 55 mpg easy.
How about VW Polo diesel and it's 70 mpg?
Well... If you live in Europe.
Because we have BASTARD STUPID EPA not allow diesel car because it couldn't pass their STUPID emission test. EPA run out automaker and small engine. I don't believe global warning it fake.
But Mercedes diesel you could find here for under $2,000.

New to me, too small gas/diesel engines. yeah, I see 72mpg on 1.2L diesel.
I think the EPA don't like diesel vehicles, however in California, they are stillYup, diesel cars are very common in Europe but why not in America.
