Queens Mom Charged For Snapping Pics of Her Kids with Guns QUEENS, N.Y. (WPIX) - A mother faces criminal charges after authorities say she photographed her two young sons -- guns in hand.

According to police, the 24-year-old told them she thought the pictures would be funny; one boy is just 11-months old; the other is five-years old.

Police got a hold of the photos after the woman and her boyfriend e-mailed them to friends, and one of them called Child Protective Services.

The couple faces child endangerment, drugs and weapons charges.

I think the mom was irresponsible.

I'm no anti-gun, but there's a fine line between responsibility and idiocy. That mother falls into the latter category.
