Ok, my friend came to me in confidence. Told me what was going on. I suggested a few things but since I haven't ever dealt with what she is
dealing with I didn't know what else to say except to go see a professional (to talk to them).
Well I was suppose to babysit yesterday but I was just too tired with the stag and doe (party for the groom and bride that are getting married). Plus my girls needed attention since we hadn't see them since Friday. Along with my house being a mess.
I called her this morning just to ask how the session went. She told me, well we are doing well on our own. We went and bought PALM PLOLITS and played with them all day yesterday.
Ofcourse I am thinking to myself, she wanted to leave him. She couldn't deal with it. And now they are buying TOYS just to get over their issues????
How can I tell her no matter how many things you buy, etc...unless you get help for the issues it's always going to be an issue. It's pretty serious to her, and she has no clue how deep it goes. I can see it because I am not IN the situation.
I was like Oh, that's nice. However I am not impressed. She sobbed to me an entire day about all of their problems and now she was on the verge of leaving. Now, she is playing with a toy happy as can be with him.
As far as I can see, he'll just keep buying her toys just to push the issue under the rug...it's only a matter of time before she realizes what is actually going on.
I just hate standing here watching (knowing that it's gonna be ugly in the end).
